Welcome to Our Office
Your initial appointment will consist of a comprehensive examination, a gum disease screening, an oral cancer examination and a TMJ evaluation. Occasionally a treatment plan can be presented the same day as the initial exam. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan will require a second appointment to discuss our findings and treatment recommendations..
Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your first visit:
- Any current x-rays
- A list of your current medications
- If you have dental insurance, please bring your insurance card and benefit booklet. This will save time and allow us to help you process any claims.
IMPORTANT: A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under 18 at the first visit.
Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to your first visit (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medication (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.)
X-Rays
To improve the quality of our diagnostic tool and to minimize the amount of radiation exposure to our patients, our office utilizes digital x-rays. In the event that your x-rays from another office have expired we will need to take current x-rays to make an accurate diagnosis.
